I am interested in the idea that garments can possess and represent mental space and memory. Specifically, how they become activated by our physicality and personas. I plucked out particular stanzas and lines which I resonated with to dissect and recontextualise. Four Quartets is a poem which reflects on endings and beginnings. It has a recurring theme of circularity, which reaffirms this idea of folding and unfolding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--FILE05--><\/p>\n<div class=\"mediafileviewer mfvimages\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading =\"lazy\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolofdesignleeds.com\/degreeshow-2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/molly-staniforth-05_Molly-Staniforth.png\" width=\"100%\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1443px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1443\/798;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mfv-caption\">As a series, these items reflect time, place and relationships: platonic, romantic, familial or the relationship with one&#8217;s self.
