This year, the theme is an invitation to wonder \u2014 not just at the works on display but also about their commentaries on the world and our roles within society. Design is an interdisciplinary pursuit aimed at solving societal problems and, as such, our field cannot exist without first identifying the challenges in the world around us.<\/p>\n<p>From making legal documents easier to read, to revealing new forms of sustainable fashion, to raising awareness of climate concerns through immersive technologies, what we do here has implications everywhere.
