BA Art and Design<\/h3>\n

This past year, my practice has focused on creating hyper-realistic botanical studies with which I can design wallpaper and other patterns, using watercolour and coloured pencils to enhance visual textures and depth. \u2018Pattern\u2019 refers to the repetition of something to form a sequence. Patterns and sequences are also practical tools people use every day to understand and navigate the world around us. My pattern design process begins with photographing the studies and uploading them to Photoshop. This step is crucial for removing backgrounds, enhancing colours and lighting, and manipulating elements into abstract forms. By combining different aspects of separate studies, I am able to create cohesive and intricate designs.<\/p>\n

Lily Wallpaper is a creation of a surreal plant that blooms lilies, artichokes, thistles and raspberries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
