The work is inspired by the different-ness of the Xemahoa tribe from Ian Watson&#8217;s Sci-Fi novel &#8216;The Embedding&#8217; published in 1973.<\/p>\n<div class=\"socialstack\"><span class=\"material-symbols-outlined\">handshake<\/span><a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connect with <span id=\"withme\">Arthur Bell<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p><!--FILE01--><\/p>\n<div class=\"mediafileviewer mfvimages\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading =\"lazy\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolofdesignleeds.com\/ds24\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/arthur-bell-01_Arthur-Bell.jpg\" width=\"100%\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 551px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 551\/824;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mfv-caption\">Here is my proposed Xemahoa alphabet, inspired by the smoke swirls that would be present, rising from the fire in a Xemahoa ritual. The Xemahoa People use a psychedelic drug to be able to fully articulate their language.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--FILE02--><\/p>\n<div class=\"mediafileviewer mfvimages\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading =\"lazy\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolofdesignleeds.com\/ds24\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/arthur-bell-02_Arthur-Bell.jpg\" width=\"100%\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 602px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 602\/609;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mfv-caption\">This shows a Xemahoa sentence, which shows the concept of the Xemahoa having no sense of linear time in a Xemahoa drug ritual.
