Inspired by the surface structure of lily pads, this speculative design serves as a floating bio-filter to reduce harmful algae blooms in wetland lakes and ponds. LiLi performs circular design by 3D printing with a bioplastic comprised of extracted algae to highlight its potential as an alternative to conventional plastics.
