I have a curiosity for experimenting with textiles as a medium.My most recent work explores the tension between chaos and control. Using weaving, knotting, and reclaimed materials, my work embraces imperfection, emotional expression, and material transformation. I aim to evoke a sensory response and reflect on themes of vulnerability, structure, and sustainability in making.
‘The stillness in a tangle’ 140cm x140cm Handwoven textile, reclaimed yarns, 2025 This piece explores the fragile balance between chaos and control through layered textures, frayed edges, and structural disruption. Using traditional weaving as a framework, the work embraces imperfection and spontaneity, inviting viewers to reflect on emotional vulnerability, material transformation, and the dialogue between form and feeling.
