I have always loved creating detailed and thoughtful designs which are fun, contemporary and sustainable. In my final year, I have created collections for Damson Madder, Gimaguas, Simone Rocha and Schiaparelli which have developed my technical drawing and illustration skills immensely. I have also honed my ability to analyze consumer trends and develop concepts using creative problem solving.

This collection is named after a village on the Isle of Wight where I have created many fond memories. It is a peaceful, nostalgic and fun place which the collection aims to emulate. I have drawn from prints, colours and styles I wore on the island as a child and have reimagined them for a womenswear collection for Damson Madder.

Hanami is the traditional Japanese custom of viewing Sakura flowers, as a reminder to connect with nature and savour the moment. This collection takes inspiration from the rich history of Japan to inform silhouettes, prints and details. Elements of the garments are inspired by the obi belt, the serafuku school uniform and traditional workwear.

This collection was inspired by the fairytale of the Princess and the Pea. It draws inspiration from the rich textures and prints of vintage bedding to create whimsical and regal garments for Simone Rocha. A painting by Edmund Dulac has been incorporated into three pieces, and unique textures have been crafted through fabric manipulation, lazer engraving, weaving, embroidery and upcycling.
