BA Graphic and Communication Design

My design career at Leeds has allowed me to explore a range of designs in branding and marketing. My role as a Junior Graphic Assistant at the University has strengthened and broadened my creative interests, guiding my design journey through the final year of the programme. Shown here are some of my final year projects showcasing branding and marketing campaigns.

This is a brand project for a new all-female headlining festival called ‘Sequoia’. The premise of the festival is to champion female artists and provide a space for the feminine community to be celebrated. The brand identity is inspired by the DIY Punk aesthetic, embodying a sense of feminine rebellion against a sexist industry, reclaiming female stereotypes to encourage empowerment.

The assets for this festival branding include digital and print promotional materials. A physical zine that focuses on the festival’s manifesto in a visually engaging form. The merchandise includes ticket stubs and apparel combining the key brand visuals in a new form with the aim to create assets that can act as nostalgic memorabilia.

This advertising campaign ‘That’s not Lime’ was created to encourage commuters to use E-bikes with a USP of speed and reliability of Lime bikes over London public transport. The campaign uses a typographic approach with hourglass illustrations to visualise that time is wasted less when commuting with Lime, enforcing the shock factor of commuter’s losing years due to public transport.
