The Muuvi Star is a screen-free wearable designed for children in military families navigating parental deployment. Combining movement, emotional connection, and low-pressure communication, it encourages daily physical activity through AI-generated missions. When goals are completed, children unlock voice messages from deployed parents, transforming movement into a meaningful source of comfort, connection, and routine while strengthening family bonds across distance and time zones.

The Muuvi Star’s storybook packaging is designed to be kept, transforming the unboxing experience into a meaningful narrative. It gently introduces the topic of deployment and explains the device in a child-friendly way, helping children emotionally connect with the product. By initiating difficult conversations early, the packaging also eases pressure on caregivers managing family life during deployment.

Designed for both deployed parents and caregivers, the Muuvi app works alongside the Muuvi Star to support the realities of military life through simple, low-effort interactions. Parents can quickly record messages despite limited connectivity, while caregivers can easily track progress. By enabling children to exchange messages and unlock voice recordings through daily movement missions, the app helps deployed parents remain an active, meaningful presence in their child’s everyday life.
