My work investigates how pattern, colour and movement change viewer’s perceptions. By using rotating motors to manipulate the speed and direction of select squares, it encourages a change in perceived colour perception, as well as altering the viewers overall visual perception of the piece. The Op art nature of the pattern assists in embedding these rotating squares into their environment, which aids in the disruption of the expected.
