BA Art and Design

After my nanna passed away in November 2022 following a battle with dementia, my family and I were catapulted into a new stage of grief which most of us had never experienced before. My work explores the process of grief from a family perspective, whilst also exploring the way in which grief is viewed in society through digital photography, film photography and audio interviews. All subjects within the photography and audio interviews are family members who have been directly affected by the loss of my nanna.
