‘Partial Recall’ explores the relationship between domestic spaces and nostalgia, drawing on personal imagery and experiences. The project recognises the impact that our environment plays on the formation of memories and attachments, exploring the idea that no space is a neutral setting. ‘Partial Recall’ takes shape through the medium of traditional printmaking, specifically intaglio zinc etchings, accompanied by an audio track. Printmaking didn’t just produce the work; it inspired the project, creating work that was led by the process, not just the outcomes.
