I create abstract visual forms rooted in Islamic calligraphy, exploring faith, memory, and diasporic identity. As a young Muslim artist, my work reimagines inherited traditions through contemporary expression, transforming displacement and belonging into a renewed visual language that honours where I come from and who I’m becoming.
Rooted in faith and renewal, this piece reflects the verse “wherever you [might] turn, there is the face of Allah.” The calligraphy sits within a living, nature‑like field, echoing how divine presence surrounds us. Each mark becomes a reminder of guidance, grounding, and the quiet nearness of Allah (God) in every direction.
